Friends Come to Call

We had a very busy couple of weeks. Not only did Memere and Pepere come to visit from Maine, but Julia and Carole (Memere's pen pal and her sister) came as well from even further away. They arrived on Sat, September 2nd all the way from England. It was so wonderful visiting with them. We went to wine country one day. :)

We also went to the headlands to see the Golden Gate Bridge.

We took a ferry over to San Francisco for a day to walk around Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 too. That was a lot of fun. And we went out for lunch and dinner a few times. Katelyn got to meet lots of new people and see many new places. It was a wonderful visit. :)

Memere & Pepere

Memere & Pepere have come to California to visit with us for a couple of weeks. They were very excited to come out here, as they have never visited California before and could hardly wait to meet their first grandchild. Here is Memere holding Katelyn in one of the new outfits she brought for her.





Pepere came and stayed with us for a couple of nights. He stayed up with Katelyn so that we could get a couple nights of non-stop sleep. It was so nice to sleep for more than two hours at a stretch. Katelyn enjoyed it as well. Here she is smiling at Pepere in the rocker downstairs.
