Katelyn the Kangaroo

Katelyn has now discovered the wonderful world of jumpers. She had her first experience in hers the day after Thanksgiving. After a few minutes of "What is this thing they have put me into now?" thoughts (seen left), she settled in and had a great time with it (seen right). She can't quite bounce just yet but she loves standing in it and being able to turn herself around to see what is going on in the world. She spent at least a half hour in it that first night and has had time in it many nights since.

Thanksgiving 2006!

Katelyn had a lot of fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house on Thanksgiving. She got to fly around the room with Grandma. She also got to play with some new toys Grandma found for her.





She got to practice standing in front of the fire place with Grandpa. This was a fun trick but got tiring very quickly so it didn't last long. :)

Cuddle time was had with almost everyone. She loved seeing the fire going in the fireplace. She sat and stared at it for almost a half hour.

It was such a fun and exciting day. She met new people, Dede, Gary and their friend Carol were there. So was our friend Joe. Lots of new smells were checked out and Katelyn even got to taste her first pickle. (It did not go over very well.) In the end, Katelyn fell asleep in her swing with her new cell phone toy.

3 Months

Katelyn turned 3 months this week!

Katelyn is getting so big so fast. She has outgrown a number of outfits now and is wearing 6month old clothes on a regular basis. She sleeps through the night, most nights, only waking to eat after at lest 6 hours. :)




She can now fit into the cute outfits her great-grandmother sent her. They are so cute on her. She wore this one on her 3 month birthday to day care. Everyone thought she was the cutest thing.








Katelyn still loves taking a bath. She likes to splash in the water and having the water dripped onto her tummy.









Her bouncy seat is still one of her favorite places to spend time. She likes to sit on the kitchen table and watch us make dinner. She has tried a couple times to even get a hold of the plant and put it into her mouth, where EVERYTHING goes these days.

Katelyn's First Halloween

Katelyn was the CUTEST kitty around!!!

She spent the day with Denise, Emily and Jimmy. They went to Emily's school party and parade. Katelyn loved seeing the kids there all dressed up and having fun. Here she is with Emily, who was dressed up as Jasmine.

Katelyn and Mommy at the office. We both got dressed up. It was fun. Everyone at the office thought she was so darling. :)

Katelyn got a new toy, too. A little pumkin shaker. When we gave it to her, she immediately put it into her mouth and started chewing. Everything goes in her mouth now.

Another Big First!!!

Katelyn rolled over for the first time from her tummy to her back ALL BY HERSELF!!!!! She was on her playmat for some tummy time, and apparently decided she didn't like it anymore. So she wiggled around a bit and managed to get over onto her back. She was very surprised as to how this all happened. You can tell by the look on her face in the last shot.
